Our Members Only e-mail list features a Calendar where we will post future events for our Members. As a Member, you can post your Halter related events, such as Shows, Futurities, etc. you can even meet other Members if you're going to the same Show!! Many of you ask what the Membership Fee pays for, aside from gaining access to the information and experts who frequent this site and we'd like to let you know that some of your money goes towards paying for server webspace, which, for a site of this size and traffic, costs quite a bit of money. We also have to pay our Webmaster for regular updates - she helps keep our site up-to-date and finds new ideas to help benefit our Members and/or Advertisers. We also feel that paying a small fee brings us Members who truly want to learn about Halter Horses (breeding, training, showing, etc.) and paying a fee helps to keep away those who like to do nothing more than criticize the Halter Horse. Our Webmaster spends a lot of time answering emails and fielding questions that may arise, so before you question "why a membership fee", please know that it does take a lot of time and more money than Memberships/Advertising brings in, to keep this site up and running. Plus, we get the distinct pleasure of saying that we are truly the first and only "Halter Horse specific" website for the stock horse breeds on the Internet (i.e. Quarter Horse, Paint Horse & Appaloosa).
