Welcome! This is the home page for the Halter Horse Webring
- a ring of web sites dedicated to the Halter Horse and the people who
love, show, breed or work with them. REQUIREMENTS If you do not have significant Halter Horse content, your site will be deleted without explanation - we assume you are adults signing up for this ring and as such, have read the criteria and emailing us to complain will get you nowhere. |
|
|
||
| **Please Note** These sites should appeal to a general audience that may include children - no sites with adult content will be accepted to the ring. This is a Not-For-Profit webring linking together Halter Horse related sites. This Web Ring was created on October 3,
2000. Your ringmistress is Tracey. |
||
| ALL SITES WILL BE REVIEWED FOR APPROPRIATE CONTENT BEFORE THEY WILL BE ACCEPTED TO THE WEB RING. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR SITE MEETS THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE SUBMITTING THIS FORM. | ||
NOTICE: We will no longer accept sites that subscribe to popup window ads, whether it be through a freebie site or not, we do not condone popup ads and don't mind publicizing your site through our webring, but not sites on the popup ads, so those sites will not be accepted - no explanation will be given, we assume you have read this.
Also, if you are not a Halter Horse website (i.e. your horse MUST specialize in Halter first and foremost in the Quarter Horse, Paint Horse and Appaloosa breeds - NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
The next thing you need to do is:
Get The Code
After adding yourself to the queue (via the above form) you will be
given a site ID number. With this and this fragment of html code, you can make the necessary
changes to your homepage. Just copy and paste the code into your page, using
whatever HTML editor you're comfortable with. Simply replace the words
"***SITE ID***" with the ID number assigned to you - there are 2 places in the
code where you will need to do this. It works best if you put your code
on the same page that you have registered with the Web Ring.
You should save a copy of the image and upload it into your own directory. Please
do not attempt to pull the image from this site. Get
The Image.
The next thing you need to do
is:
Request to Be Added
When your
page is ready, please EMAIL
US and ask the ringmistress to add you to the ring. The ringmistress for
the Halter Horse Webring is Tracey.
In order to keep the ring intact, you cannot be added to the ring until the code is in place and working on your page (preferably the page you registered).
